How the Catholic Church is Planning to Resume Public Masses

Posted by Juan-Carlos Valerio on

- Bishops are encouraging parishes who are live-streaming their Masses to continue doing so.

Pews and other surfaces should have been sanitized following the previous Mass

- Pew racks will likely not have missalettes or hymnals

- Mandatory to wear masks during mass

- Mantain 6 feet from the other person

- Holy water fonts will be empty

- Inside of the church, "no touch" principle all the time

- No holding hands during Lord's Prayer

- Suspend carrying to the altar the bread and wine

- Collection box placed in a central location where everyone can deposit contributions

- Encourage people to receive the Host in the palm

- Remain in their pews and pray If you decide not to receive the Communion

- Eliminate or reduce socialization after mass
