This small crucifix pendant is crafted in Italy from solid 14K yellow gold, with a high-polish tubular cross and a finely detailed corpus. Its modest size makes it easy to wear every day, close to the heart.

About the Design

The pendant measures 10.6 mm by 17.5 mm, not including the bail. The cross is made of rounded, tubular gold with a bright, mirror-like finish that catches the light from every angle. On the front, the corpus of Christ is shown in careful relief, His arms outstretched, and His head bowed, beneath the INRI title at the top of the cross. The back of the cross is smooth and polished.

The pendant hangs from a small ring attached to a polished, folded bail that slides easily onto most fine chains. The bail is stamped 14K, along with the maker's mark. The chain is not included.

About the Devotion

INRI stands for the Latin words Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum, "Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews," the title Pontius Pilate placed above the Cross, as recorded in the Gospel of John (19:19). What was meant as a mockery became a proclamation: Christ reigns from the Cross.

A crucifix differs from a plain cross because it bears the figure of Christ. It reminds the one who wears it not only that Christ died for us, but how much He loved us in doing so. Like every sacramental, the crucifix is not a charm. Its meaning lives in the faith and prayer it accompanies.

Specifications

Material

14K solid yellow gold (bail stamped 14K)

Size

10.6 mm x 17.5 mm (0.42 in x 0.69 in), not including the bail

Finish

High polish

Design

Tubular Latin cross with corpus and INRI title

Back

Smooth polished cross

Bail

Polished folded bail with connecting ring, fits most fine chains

Chain

Not included

Origin

Made in Italy

Packaging

White jewelry gift box

Who This Is For

Men and women who want a classic, everyday crucifix in real gold, small enough to wear under a shirt or over a blouse.

A son, daughter, or godchild celebrating Confirmation with a first piece of fine devotional jewelry.

Godparents looking for a lasting gift for a faith milestone.

Anyone layering a crucifix beside a Miraculous Medal or a Virgen de Guadalupe medal on a fine chain.

Care Instructions

Wipe gently with a soft, dry jewelry cloth to restore the high polish.

For deeper cleaning, use warm water with a drop of mild soap, then dry completely.

Remove before swimming in chlorine and avoid harsh chemicals.

Store in its white jewelry gift box to protect the polished surface from scratches.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this crucifix pendant solid gold?

Yes.
