The title "Our Lady of Grace" is the earliest form of veneration that the Order has displayed toward Mary throughout its history. The recitation or chanting of the "Benedicta Tu" on a regular basis was mandated by the General Chapter of 1284 as a way to specifically venerate Our Lady of Grace. In addition, the antiphon known as Ave Regina Caelorum, which has its roots in the 13th century, was composed in honor of this particular title.
The magnificent image of Our Lady of Grace that serves as the center element of this eye-catching wall cross is truly a work of art. The exquisite way in which the delicate blossoms frame Our Blessed Mother makes this item a significant addition to any home and gives it the potential to become a family heirloom.
Each flower that is used to decorate a cross is attached to that cross one at a time. The kinds of flowers used in each cross are different from the last one to the next. As a direct consequence of this, no two components are totally interchangeable with one another. Alterations can also be made to the color of the background. The images that are now on show serve as illustrations of the finished result. The trained artisans at our company produce colorful flowers of a variety of species, then carefully dry them. This allows the color and magnificence of the petals to be preserved in the finished product, which is constructed of pewter and adorned with a bouquet of flowers.
