About the Design
The cross has a softly hammered surface and a center bound with wrapped bands, a detail that recalls the linen cloths left behind in the empty tomb. It is finished with a 10-micron silver plating, a generous layer for a plated piece, in bright silver with darkened recesses that bring out the depth of the wrapping. A small loop at each end of the cross holds a double black stretch cord that slips easily over the hand, finished with polished silver-plated beads.
