The image of Our Lady of Guadalupe

The central image is a high-quality printed reproduction of the traditional Guadalupe image venerated at the Basilica since 1531. At this small scale, printing preserves the fine detail — the rays of light, the colors of the mantle, the features of her face — far better than hand-painting can.

Real pressed flowers

The flowers around the image are real: daisies, gypsophila (baby's breath), statice, and wildflowers, grown and hand-dried by Mexican artisans, then placed individually and sealed under clear resin. Because each is arranged by hand, no two pieces are exactly alike.

Hand-painted blue background

The blue framing the image is hand-painted, then sealed beneath the resin with the flowers. The blue is consistent across all remaining pieces.

Care instructions

This piece combines several materials. Clean the sterling silver edges gently with a soft polishing cloth only — avoid silver dips and chemical cleaners, which damage the paint, resin, and flowers. Protect the resin face from prolonged sunlight (which fades flowers, paint, and the printed image), high heat (which can yellow resin), and moisture. Remove it before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping, and store it in its box in a cool, dry place. If the silver-plated chain shows wear over the years, the pendant can be transferred to any standard chain.

Tarnish, plating wear, scratches, fading, or damage from moisture, chemicals, perfume, lotion, sweat, or improper storage are not manufacturing defects under our return policy.
